At & T, Verizon communications and Qwest global communications, the three major local telephone operators in the United States, have agreed to work together to prevent cable competitors from seizing cable phone and DSL users.
When customers re deploy outside their current operator service area, the operator will let them view a new website named Movearoo.com This will help them quickly and easily switch to local telephony services, but does not include information within VoIP and cable telephony services. The co operator website encourages users to stay in the traditional phone book while trying to keep fixed line calls, including three companies. About 60% of local users reconsider their phone users when they move, according to recent data.
At& T, the leading fixed line operator in the United States, currently provides home phone services in 22 states, including the southeast and Midwest. |
